I have just come to avoid straight remixing songs from the show altogether, because by the time I even get around to thinking about it, there’s already several dozen remixes and covers and arrangements and it just feels like I’m beating a dead horse.
Or you could just wait until you have a good idea for a remix. That’s why I love General Mumble’s remix of Find a Pet so much. It was released WEEKS after the episode aired, but it sounds so cool.
