you’re fucked for life

My dad knows both and he doesn’t care.

I actually showed him my long video about the show and he loved it. And for the atheist thing, actually, he probably is one but he’s just never really said it outright, because part of how I became an atheist was how skeptical my dad was during my childhood. He always told me to ask why and my interest in paleontology and biology sort of fueled my curiosity, and the first thing that blocked my curiosity was religion. I asked why about a lot of things back then, I never got any answers from religion, so out the door it went! I had no attachment to it because I had to force myself to believe in god, since it always seemed very strange to me as a child. “People are talking to someone in the sky to answer their wishes? Then how come they hardly ever come true? And people say that it talks to them? Why doesn’t it talk to me? Is everyone insane?” So… yeah… that’s how that happened.
